Feels like its real

Walking fast and with utmost care, careful enough to not slip on the snow. Wearing high boots and winter overcoat, cap and gloves, she moved down the Lenin Street swiftly. A sense a strong bonding of something that a person feels, sometimes which is just out of nowhere, somewhere deep you know, you feel acquainted, it’s always strange. But still she kept on walking, trees ornamented with snow, roads all snow white, and snowflakes settling on her hair, some melting on the pink lips, and eyes watery. As she came near the porch of her house, the one with with lattice windows, beautiful driveway, chimney blowing reminding of fire lighted in the house, snow settled on the rooftops, and no hint of other colour other than white. Suddenly a wave of pride came across her house as she saw it admiringly. She entered the house with mild contemplation.

A girl, dark shadows, long hair and flowing green gown, beautiful and elegant, walking and hiding gracefully the look of cat eyes , something that she was hiding from, something that she never knew. I guess a kiss from her lover or the fun-filled chase something that she always does J
When she was moving slowly her long hair swaying, the wind playing around with her hair so wild, cold gripping her body like a snake eating frog, and as she turns and sways moves and dances, and suddenly she feels a hand gripping her body from behind, dark shadows of a lonely house, dark corners of a empty room and tastefully decorated home. She stops, her heart beat thrives for relaxation, but its unaware of the flame burning inside, brain searching for explanation, but instead completely confused and just then two lips meet, two lovers meet, with all the excitement inside, with all the accumulated fear now rested, it’s the ecstasy of being alive.

Suddenly as the noise of window panes bangs on, the snow storm marks its start. And she wakes up from the deep nap, from the different folds of conscience, and realises it’s all but a dream. The happiness of companionship, just a story of sorts, Deja ’vu. As she gets up, it’s the same lonely house, the same dark corners, no light, just an empty house, with no one other than self! she forgot that she fell asleep on the couch itself.

And I realise as the alarm rings, that’s it’s a dream within a dream!!!

  2. :)

    Lovely it is, melancholic though.

And a dream within a dream, inception's doing it?

When I am in the deepest of my slumber, all the voices outside just mix up in my dream so seamlessly that I don't even realize any alarm ringing to wake up to. Sometimes, I answer questions in sleep too, that I don't remember when I rise.

  11. Your dreamy post made me remember a quote - "Be careful what you wear to bed at night, you never know who you'll meet in your dreams"

Though I am never prepared, and add to the woes, I usually get nightmares! Add to that, I visualize the real world around me as dreamy too even after I get up; yeah it feels like 'real' to me too!
